This flow ensures efficient management of divergent lectures and events in the calendar by enabling users to:

Access the Builder, verify course presence, and create single/recurring divergent events.

Enter event details, assign co-hosts, select locations, attach files, and associate events with multiple course calendars (separate conference rooms).

Edit individual or series events (changes reflect across cycles).

Delete specific or repeated events (with confirmation prompts and synchronization).

Validation ensures updates (conference rooms, durations, repetitions) are accurately reflected.

Open Builder

Check Course Presence in Spaces

  • Navigate to the Calendar tab in the navigation bar. In the Left Side Panel, go to the Spaces section.

  • Under Shopping Space Inside Your Space, verify courses are listed under their correct Space.

Open the Builder
Ensure two courses are available. Hover over a Course in the list (title underlines on hover). Click the Course Title.

The Builder opens on the right side (same position as when accessed from the Space).

Create Divergent Lecture And Events

Create an Event

  • Navigate to the Calendar tab. Click the Calendar Grid at the desired date/time.

  • A preview appears → Event Creation Pop Up opens.

Fill in Event Details

  • Enter the Title in the Title Field. Set duration: Click Date, Start Time, and End Time (next to the Calendar Icon).

  • Enable All Day checker to switch to full-day events.

    • Location: Enter address after the Location Icon.

    • Description: Optional (use Description Field).

    • Attachments: Click Insert Attachment (max 5 files).

Select the Course Calendar

  • Click Choose Calendars (inside Title Field). Multi-select at least two Courses → Click Confirm.

  • In the Propagation Settings popup:

  • Unselect "replicate conference room" → Save.

Assign Conference Room:

  • Click Create Meet Room (changes to Join Room).

  • Click Join Room to enter the meeting.

Validation for Both Events
Click Save in the popup. Click both events in the Calendar Grid → Verify separate Join Room links.

Create Divergent Repeated Lecture And Events

Create an Event
Navigate to the Calendar tab. Click the Calendar GridEvent Creation Pop Up opens.

Fill in Event Details

  • Set Title, duration, and All Day (same as single events).

  • Repetition:

    • Click Doesn’t Repeat (default) → Choose:

    • Day/Week/Month/Custom (sets recurrence).

    • For custom: Set Ends on (Chapter, Course Period, or manual date).

  • Complete Co-hosts, Location, Description, and Attachments.

Select the Course Calendar

  • Click Choose CalendarsSelect CourseConfirm.

  • Propagation Settings: Uncheck "replicate conference room" → Save.

Verify Event Creation
Click Save. Check all cycles in the side panel to ensure events are generated.

Validation for Both Events
Confirm separate Join Room links for each event.

Edit Divergent Lecture And Events

Edit Event Details

  • Click an event in the Calendar Grid.

  • Update Title, duration, All Day, Co-hosts, Location, Description, or Attachments.

Edit Course Calendar

  • Click Choose Calendars → Change selection → Confirm.

  • Propagation Settings: Uncheck replication → Save.

Verify in Calendar

  • Click Save. Confirm changes reflect across all cycles.

  • Check separate Join Room links.

Edit Following And All Divergent Repeated Lecture/Events

Access the Calendar Page

Click a repeated event.

Edit Event Details

  • Adjust Title, duration, repetition rules (Doesn’t Repeat/Day/Week/Month/Custom), Co-hosts, etc.

Edit Course Calendar

  • Update selection → Confirm.

Save the Event

On save, choose:

  • This and following events (partial update).

  • All events (full series update).

Verify in Calendar

Check updates in second-to-last and last events across cycles.

Delete Convergent Lecture And Events

Access the Calendar Page

Click an event.

Delete the Event

Click the Delete Icon (bottom-left) → Confirm.

Validation

Event disappears from the Calendar Grid.
