Generate and Edit Token

This guide outlines the process for generating, managing, and deleting API tokens in Aladia. Users can create a new API key by specifying a name and expiration period, then copy the key for use. Existing keys can be edited to update the name or expiration time. Users also have the option to delete an API key, with a confirmation step ensuring secure removal. Additionally, API documentation is accessible for reference.
Generate API Token
Access API Key Authentication Section
Option 1: From the Top-Right Corner
Click the Profile Picture at the top right corner.
Navigate to the API Key Authentication section.
Option 2: From the Left SideClick the Profile Picture from the left-side bar. The profile page will be displayed.
Click the Edit icon on the profile picture. The settings pop up will be displayed.
In the Settings pop up, locate and open the API Key Authentication section. A default API key is available.
Create API Key
Click the New Key button. In the pop-up:
Enter a name for the key (for example: Key 1).
Select the expiration time (for example: No Expiration, 1 Week, 1 Month).
Click the Generate button to confirm and create the key.
Click the Check out the API Documentation button to review the document.
Locate the API key in the API Key Authentication section. Click on the Copy icon next to the key to copy it.
Edit API Key
Access API Key Authentication Section
Option 1: From the Top-Right Corner
Click the Profile Picture at the top right corner.
Navigate to the API Key Authentication section.
Option 2: From the Left Side
Click the Profile Picture from the left-side bar. The profile page will be displayed.
Click the Edit icon on the profile picture. The settings pop up will be displayed.
In the Settings pop up, locate and open the API Key Authentication section. Locate the API key, which is previously created by the user.
Edit the API Key Details
Click the three-dot menu next to the key and select Edit.
Modify the key name as needed. Update the expiration time based on the user's preference.
Click the Generate button to apply the updates.
Delete API Key
Access API Key Authentication Section
Option 1: From the Top-Right Corner
Click the Profile Picture at the top right corner.
Navigate to the API Key Authentication section.
Option 2: From the Left Side
Click the Profile Picture from the left-side bar. The profile page will be displayed.
Click the Edit icon on the profile picture. The settings pop up will be displayed.
In the Settings pop up, locate and open the API Key Authentication section. Locate the API key to delete.
Delete the API Key
Click the three-dot button menu next to the key.
Select Delete from the options.
A confirmation prompt will appear. Click the Confirm button to delete the key permanently.
