Repost Question

This guide outlines the process for reposting, sharing, and deleting question posts. Users can quickly repost a question, with a progress indicator confirming the action. Posts can be shared by copying the URL or sending them to a suggested user. Reposts can also be deleted, with a confirmation step ensuring proper removal and ensuring that the repost count on the original post is updated.

Repost

1. Initiate the Repost

• Navigate to the Feed page. Locate the question post you want to repost.

• Click on the Share button. Select Repost from the available options.

2. Processing the Repost

• The pop-up closes automatically after clicking.

• A progress bar appears at the bottom-left corner, indicating the repost is being processed.

Share Repost

1. Open the Share Options

• Navigate to the Feed page. Locate the post you want to share.

• Click the Share button located at the bottom of the post. A pop-up appears with two sharing options.

2. Select a Sharing Method

• Click to copy the post's URL and paste it anywhere.

• Send to a Suggested User: Select a user, add an optional message in the text box, then click Send.

Delete Repost

1. Access the Feed
   Navigate to the Feed page. Locate the post you want to delete.

2. Open the Options Menu
   Locate the repost you want to delete. Click the Options button (three dots) at the top-right corner of the repost.

3. Initiate Deletion

• Select Delete from the menu.

• A confirmation popup appears. Click the Delete button to confirm.

4. Repost Removal

• The repost is permanently deleted and no longer visible in the feed or profile.

• The original post’s repost count is updated accordingly.
