Event Notification Invite Broken

There's an issue when accepting an event invitation via the notification redirect.
Clicking on the notification leads to the invitation page, but a Validation Exception is displayed.
If the user then tries to click the Accept button on that page, a 500 Cast to Object error is returned.

However, everything works correctly when accepting the invitation directly from the notification popup, without being redirected to the full invitation page.
