This guide outlines users through the process of adding an About section to your profile on the Aladia platform.
Update About Information
There are two ways to access the About section.
Option 1: From the Top-Right Corner
Click the Profile Picture at the top right corner.
Navigate to the About section.
Option 2: From the Left Side
Click the Profile Picture from the left-side bar. The Profile Page will be displayed.
Click the Edit icon on the profile picture. The Settings pop up will be displayed.
In the Settings pop up, locate and open the About section.
Edit the Details
A text editor will be available for users to enter or paste content about themselves, including:
Users can write up to 2,000 characters to describe themselves.
The editor will provide a warning or visual indication if the character limit is exceeded.
Users can use the available formatting tools, such as bold, italic, underline, bullet points, and numbered lists.
Emojis are also supported.
Save Changes
Once the user has completed updating the About section, click on the Save button to confirm the changes. The changes will be applied to the user's profile immediately.
Click on the Clear All button to remove all content from the About field.
